Grimaldi (Alis): “Extraordinary numbers and large participation for LetExpo”

So the president of Alis commenting on the results of the second edition of the event dedicated to transport and sustainable logistics

“The numbers of this second edition of LetExpo are extraordinary: 310 exhibitors, 350 speakers – including representatives of institutions and Italian entrepreneurial excellence – and over 60,000 square meters indoors, without forgetting the entire area dedicated to outdoors. We have more than doubled the numbers of the past edition, the first, reaching 100,000 admissions”. Thus Guido Grimaldi, president of Alis, commenting on the results of the second edition of LetExpo, the event dedicated to transport and sustainable logistics taking place at Veronafiere from 8 to 11 March.

“It was an important opportunity to exhibit our latest generation vehicles – continued Grimaldi – and we are very happy that the Italian Army, Navy and Carabinieri participated with so much enthusiasm in our initiative”.

After commenting on the results of the trade fair, Grimaldi wanted to reflect on unemployment, a condition experienced by many young Italians, offering a possible solution: “How is it possible that there is a lack of tens of thousands of operators in the logistics sector and, at the same time , are there so many people without a job? Why not bring together job supply and demand? The presence at LetExpo of 50,000 young people from all over Italy – concludes Grimaldi – is a source of great pride for us. Training, young people and the future are certainly the three key words of this Fair”.
