Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 it’s currently looking to be the second Marvel film of 2023 to open to over $100 million domestically. After Ant-Man and the Wasp which grossed $106.1 million in its opening weekend, analysts expect this threequel to earn as much as $130 million in its first weekend in theaters. While that number is lower than 2017’s second chapter opening, it’s ahead of Guardians of the Galaxy of 2014, which reached $94.3 million in the United States.
