Hero10 Black, the proof of the last born in GoPro

We had tried the previous version diving in the waters of Lake Garda only a year ago … and we liked it! Now it’s the turn of the latest addition, the GoPro Hero10 Black, which introduces several innovations including new hardware and new software.

What changes with the new GoPro?

The most important news is the introduction of the new GP2 processor. The GP1 resisted since the time of the Hero 6. They double all the framerates: the 5.3k reaches up to 60mps and the 4k up to 120mps with a very high resolution therefore also for slow motion.

Slow motion, a nice leap forward

It also improves stabilization, with the work that has been done on hyper smooth even shooting on strong vertical jumps becomes much more stable. The digital touchscreen also makes a leap forward: the controls are faster and more responsive and the definition of the photos also improves, from 20 to 23 megapixels. And then the lens covering the lens becomes water-repellent: ideal for use underwater.

Subscription cloud support

Last very convenient function: support for self-backup on the cloud, which however is only available by subscription. When you reload the GoPro your images are automatically transferred to the cloud. Also improved the connection via wireless “quick” but the fastest thing is to connect it via cable, which is direct for devices that work with Android while in the case of the iPhone you need an adapter. The list price of GoPro Hero10 Black is 579.98 euros but online at the moment it is discounted.
