The familiar four-note melody that is heard in the trailer of the awaited prequel immediately returns to the appropriately dark tone for a new journey into the dystopian society of Hunger Games. Panem is preparing for the tenth edition of the Hunger Games and the principal of the Academy Highbottom Falls coaches mentors like Coriolanus Snow to turn the tributes in the deadly competition into “spectacles, not survivors”. Lucy Gray Baird is the District 12 tribute taking a sarcastic bow reminiscent of what Katniss Everdeen will do 64 years later.
