The plot: Buck against the threat of the dinosaurs
The new animated film promises to be a real treat for fans of the adventures of the Lost World. Against the threat of the dinosaurs this time Buck takes the field, a character already appeared for the first time in “Ice Age 3 – Dawn of the Dinosaurs”. From a temporal point of view, the events of this title, which have been in the works for many years, are among those told in the third and fourth films, a midquel that explores a part of the vast history that began in the cinema in 2002, the year of the release of the first animated feature film, “The Ice Age”. Directed by directed by Chris Wedge and produced by Blue Sky Studios, together with 20th Century Fox, that first film was the first chapter of a twenty-year adventure on the big screen which, after four sequels, short films and two TV specials, today arrives in streaming to continue to garner the favor of the public, always ready to delve into the stories of the many characters of the original story by Michael J. Wilson.

Donkin, former producer of Blue Sky Studios, makers of the entire cycle of films of “Ice Age” until the takeover by Walt Disney Studios made official last February.
