On the occasion of the Fort Lauderdale Boat Show (26-30 October) Ice Agenzia and Confindustria Nautica organized a collective participation of Italian companies to support and develop the business and networking activities of operators. The updated data of the sector, presented at the 62nd Genoa International Boat Show in September, testify that 2021 proved to be the year with the best increase in turnover ever for the Italian nautical industry, with a +31 , 1% compared to the previous year for a value of 6.1 billion. “Ours is one of the sectors in which Italy is a world leader – said Eng. Afterwards, the Commercial Director of I Saloni Nautici Alessandro Campagna presented the record results of the 62nd Genoa International Boat Show which was held in September, with the launch of the next 63rd edition, of which news and new format were mentioned.

“An important edition was that of the 62nd Genoa International Boat Show, with 103,812 visitors (+ 10.7% compared to 2021), 998 brands on display, over 1,000 boats, 4,463 sea trials, 168 novelties presented and 35 countries represented. The organizers are already working on the 63rd edition which will take place in an area in constant evolution, home to the project of the new Levante Waterfront, signed by the star architect Renzo Piano. The international activity of Confindustria Nautica and Ice Agenzia will continue with the organization of a collective of Italian companies within the Italian Pavilion at the Metstrade in Amsterdam (15 – 17 November 2022), the world exhibition dedicated to operators in the components sector and accessories for pleasure boating.
