Ieg on Rimini acquires ‘Sintonie’, b2c expo on high quality audio-video

Ieg-Italian Exhibition Group Spa acquires the Sintonie Audio Video Expo brand, an event dedicated to the world of High End and audio and video Hi-Fi, born 23 years ago and which has been held at the Palacongressi in Rimini since 2017. Over the years in Rimini, despite the forced pause due to the pandemic restrictions, the event has grown both in the consideration of the prestigious national and international exhibitors, and in the interest of the public, always exceeding the 1,500 participants in the last editions.

Currently, thanks to the presence of the most important brands, Sintonie offers visitors listening rooms, demonstrations of Hi-Fi systems, Home Theater solutions, TVs, sound bars, projectors, headphones, spaces dedicated to static displays of electronics but also cars audio, vinyl, gaming audio systems and much more dedicated to enthusiastslistening to the highest quality sound.

“After an analysis of the prospects for further growth and in comparison with the exhibiting companies – announces theCEO of Ieg, Corrado Peraboni – we reached an agreement with the founder of the event, Marco Angelucci, and with the partners Roberto Pedrazzini and Emidio Frattaroli. Sintonie Audio Video Expo will continue to be held at the Palacongressi in Rimini, where it has found space, organizational flexibility and know-how to grow and establish itself among the European elite of these events. The main companies, both directly and through their importers, have reconfirmed their interest in focusing on an event that is a national reference point, which is the mirror of the high quality of the sector and expands towards new complementary targets”.

The first adaptation of the format of Sintonie 2023, scheduled from 15 to 17 Septemberwill aim to aggregate segments of the high quality home entertainment market, with the inclusion of the audio and video world with next generation wireless and multirooms products, the world of gaming, accessories and specialized publishing.

A technical-scientific committee will also be set up, coordinated by Marco Angelucci, who has always been the organizing soul of Sintonie.

The world market of audio and video Hi-Fi, according to the report released by Markets and markets, will go from 10.62 billion dollars in 2015 to 16.49 billion in 2022 (estimated pre-pandemic figure). The data confirm a surge in the growth curve due precisely to the global pandemic.
