Ilary Blasi: “The house at EUR is always open for Totti”

Golden tapir to the presenter for the gaffe on the ‘able-bodied’

“I don’t like able-bodied people”. Thus Ilary Blasi, confusing “able-bodied” with “normotype”, during the debut episode of ‘L’Isola dei fame’ had sent gossip enthusiasts into raptures. A gaffe which, added to the long-distance squabbles with the ex Francesco Totti convinced Valerio Staffelli to give the presenter the Golden Tapir of ‘Striscia la Notizia’, the eighth of his career, to be awarded in tonight’s episode on Canale 5, the first of the second appointment with ‘L’Isola’.

“But let’s face it, who likes able-bodied people?” Amused Blasi replies, to which Staffelli asks if he has really changed the lock on the villa in Eur so as not to let the former Francesco Totti enter. “Francesco can enter when he wants, the house is always open”, clarifies the presenter. “And with the new partner, the German Bastian Muller, in what language does he communicate?”, the Striscia correspondent pressed her. Blasi admits that he doesn’t know German and speaks “macaronic” English. The complete report tonight on Striscia la Notizia (Channel 5, 8.35pm).
