The illycaffè Board of Directors, chaired by Andrea Illy, resolved today, with effect from 1 January 2022, the appointment of the new Chief Executive Officer, Cristina Scocchia, formerly a member of the Board of Directors since 2019. Scocchia, who is leaving the role of director Kiko’s delegate, he will take over from Massimiliano Pogliani, the manager to whom the Illy family had entrusted the company already in 2016 and then renewed their trust in 2019, who will remain in office until 31 December 2021.
“In consideration of the positive phase of the capital market and the desire to start the listing process, as well as Massimiliano Pogliani’s desire to pursue other professional experiences, the Board of Directors has agreed to bring forward the expiry of the mandate, in order to ensure a unitary management of the entire year 2022 “explains illycaffè in a note.
