‘In order to make comedy’, Paolo Belli returns to the theater in February

Great success last season, the show will visit various Italian cities until April

After a 2023 which saw him as the protagonist of a long tour marked by sold-out everywhere, and in recent weeks we are seeing him once again alongside Milly Carlucci for the 18th edition of ‘Dancing with the Stars’ and a great protagonist of the ‘Telethon’ marathon which will start on 9 December, Paolo Belli’s 2024 will begin at the theater with the show’s return to the stageJust to do comedy‘, a great success of last season, which will visit various Italian cities between February and April.

The showwhich debuted in 2022 to great success and widespread applauseis the natural evolution of ‘Pur di fare Musica’, a staging that received recognition from critics and the public in previous seasons. In ‘Pur di far Commedia’ (written by Belli himself with Alberto Di Risio) stories and anecdotes accompany the audience to discover characters who are sometimes surreal, but who dedicate themselves without limits to realizing the dream of living following their passion. Paolo recounts the thousand vicissitudes and twists experienced in many years of his career, including hilarious auditions with strange but brilliant musicians, moments of reflection and his great successes revisited in a new guise.

Prose, songs and laughter are the ingredients of “Pur di Far Commedia” where Paolo, accompanied by seven musicians/actors, leaves more space for speech, stories and interaction with his audience, he lets himself be carried away by memories, managing to involve those present, moving and getting excited, thinking back to the path taken so far. On stage, in addition to Belli obviously, there will be Juan Carlos Albelo Zamora, Gabriele Costantini, Mauro Parma, Enzo Proietti, Gaetano Puzzutiello, Peppe Stefanelli and Paolo Varoli.

Produced by Pb Produzioni, the show will touch, among other cities, Perugia (Teatro Morlacchi 25 February), Milan (Eco Teatro 1, 2 and 3 March), Bologna (Teatro Celebrazioni 3 April) and Rome (Teatro Olimpico 5 April).
