India, ambulance hits a pothole and man declared dead wakes up

In India a hole “resurrects” a man. The curious story featured an 80-year-old patient, Darshan Singh Brar, who the doctors had declared dead after being hospitalized for a few days. In reality, the old man was alive. His family reported the episode in question to the local media. They had rented a private ambulance to take him home where they had already set up everything for the cremation and funeral, but something happened on the way. The vehicle hit a pothole and the man started to move his hand.

The reconstruction of the facts

Then his nephew, who was on board with him, immediately asked to check the heartbeat which was still present even though the man still did not respond. The ambulance changed route and took the patient to another hospital: there they admitted him again. He is now in intensive care and his condition is considered critical. “When he was brought to us, he was breathing and had blood pressure and pulse. We don’t know what happened in the other hospital, whether it was a technical error or something else”, the doctors said. “When the hospital notified us, we informed our relatives and other local residents who knew him, everyone had already gathered to mourn his passing. A tent had been set up and food had also been prepared for the mourners and wood for cremation”, said the man’s family.
