Innovatec, green light to Green Up for the Lazzate waste treatment and recovery plant

Innovatec SpA announces that the subsidiary Green Up – active in the Environment and Circular Economy business – has received from the Province of Monza Brianza, the authorization to construction of a waste treatment and recovery plant in Lazzate. As underlined in a note, the plant, “which will provide significant environmental benefits by reducing the amount of waste destined for final disposal, will have an authorized capacity for the treatment of 50 thousand tons of waste per yearwill be fully automated and equipped with the most advanced technologies on the market for carrying out this activity”. The authorized plant is ready for construction immediately, will cover an area of ​​approximately 13,000 square meters, 3,000 of which are covered, and will be built over the next twelve months with an expected investment of approximately 3.5 million Euros.

Green Up, active in the Environment and Circular Economy business, has as its object the collection, selection, treatment and planting of waste, management of landfills, as well as management of plants for the production of electricity from renewable sources and from landfill biogas. Owner of a series of treatment and planting plants located in Northern Italy and of an operational network present throughout Italy, it manages, at a national level, the requirement deriving from the production of special waste of companies and commercial activities. The objective of Green Up is to put the theories of the circular economy into practicepromoting the recovery processes of waste materials to transform them into value.
