This is what emerges from the INPS Observatory on job insecurity. Compared to 2019, however, when layoffs stood at 504,264, a decrease of 25.15% was recorded
In 2022, there were 377,423 economic layoffs and they signaled an increase of 40.89% compared to the previous year. This is what emerges from the INPS Observatory on job insecurity. The comparison, the experts point out, is with a year in which, until June 30, the block on layoffs was in force due to the economic emergency related to the pandemic. Compared to 2019, however, when layoffs stood at 504,264, a decrease of 25.15% was recorded.
Resignation
Again in 2022, 1,255,706 resignations were also reported, for an increase of 9.74% compared to 2021. Considering 2019, however, before the start of the Covid epidemic (1,012,637 resignations), the increase is state of 24%.
Disciplinary dismissals
Considering, then, the disciplinary dismissals not included by the block until 30 June 2021, last year they were 116,569, an increase of 9.2% compared to twelve months earlier when they were 106,749. A considerable increase was also recorded compared to the 85,037 disciplinary dismissals in 2020 and the 80,876 in 2019. Here are other data that emerged from the survey. Between January and December, there were 1,863,593 terminations from permanent contracts with 29,073 consensual terminations and 84,822 closures for other reasons, as well as 1,255,706 resignations and 493,992 total dismissals between economic and disciplinary.
