Israel, Erdogan on Netanyahu: “He will be tried for war crimes in Gaza”

Turkey has presented a dossier to the International Criminal Court in The Hague in which it accuses the Israeli prime minister of genocide. “He will be tried as a war criminal” declares Ankara. Benjamin Netanyahu is compared to Serbian Slobodan Milosevic, perpetrator of crimes against humanity during the war in the Balkans. “Gaza is Palestine, it is the land of the Palestinians and will remain so forever. I say this for those who have different plans in mind,” said Recep Tayyip Erdogan. “The path to peace in our region passes through the creation of the State of Palestine. We are ready to take on all kinds of responsibilities, including the role of guarantor, to ensure peace” underlined the Turkish president.

“Preventing attacks on the West Bank”

Erdogan spoke before the audience of the Organization for the Cooperation of Islamic Countries to relaunch the need for a common position under the leadership of Turkey. “It is the duty of the entire Islamic world to unite to not allow Israel to carry out this expansionist policy. Intervening for the integrity of Palestine is a duty not only towards our Palestinian brothers, but towards our own security. Today is Gaza , but we all know that they will soon set their sights on other areas” underlined the Turkish president.

The butcher of Gaza

“The butcher of Gaza, Benjamin Netanyahu, has said several times in front of the cameras that he is aiming for expansion on Ramallah as well as on Gaza” declared Erdogan. The Turkish president said that defending Gaza means “at the same time defending Jerusalem, Mecca, Medina, Istanbul, Beirut, Damascus and Baghdad” and all “the cities of the Islamic world”.
