THE FIRST PHASE
- Let’s start from the first phase, which sees the establishment of a “buffer zone”. This term refers to the creation of one a kilometer-wide space on the border between Israel and the Gaza Stripwith the aim of protecting Israeli population centers from possible incursions by Hamas terrorists

THE OBJECTIVE OF THE FIRST PHASE
- What does the “buffer zone” involve? Any Palestinian should enter that area would automatically be considered an enemy, with all the consequences of the case. Netanyahu essentially wants to avoid what happened on October 7, when Hamas terrorists invaded Israeli territory carrying out massacres in the kibbutzim near the border e at the rave party in the desert (in the picture)

THE SECOND PHASE
- In the second phase, after the establishment of a “buffer zone”, the creation of a buffer zone is envisaged zone B model in the West Bankthat under mixed Israeli-Palestinian control as defined by the Oslo Accords of the early 1990s

THE OSLO AGREEMENTS
- The Oslo Accords provided for the patchy division of the West Bank: zone A under Palestinian control, zone B under joint Israeli-Palestinian control e zone C under Israeli control. However, in the following years, they multiplied suicide attacks against the Jewish population and Palestinian cities repeatedly invaded by Israeli tanks
