Jared Leto is one of the most versatile and talented actors on the silver screen. Singer and actor, the star is also the frontman of 30 Seconds to Mars. Interrupted Girls (1999) – Jared Leto plays Tobias Jacobs, a boy who dates Susanna (played by Winona Ryder). He asks her to leave the clinic and flee together to Canada to escape recruitment, but she refuses. The film tells of a young woman with borderline personality disorder who spends eighteen months in a psychiatric institution in the late 1960s.

Fight Club (1999) – Leto oxygenates his hair, becoming very blond, for his share of Angel Face. His character joins the protagonists (Edward Norton and Brad Pitt) in their underground fighting ring

Chapter 27 (2007) – In the film once again the actor has to significantly change his physical appearance. Take on the role of Marc Chapman, John Lennon’s killer. To prepare for the role, he put on 30 pounds, also suffering from gout and having to use a wheelchair to get around.

Mr Nobody (2010) – Science fiction film by Jaco Van Dormael, Leto plays a 118-year-old man, the last survivor on Earth. For this role he is nominated for the Volpi Cup for the best male interpretation at the 66th Venice Film Festival

Dallas Buyers Club (2013) – Film by Jean-Marc Vallée, sees Leto in the role of Rayon, a transgender woman drug addict and HIV positive, who becomes friends with the protagonist played by Matthew McConaughey, in the part of a rude and homophobic cowboy with AIDS. Leto earned a Golden Globe and Oscar for Best Supporting Actor. For the same film, McConaughey wins the Oscar for Best Actor in a Leading Role

Until the last clue (2020) – For his performance in John Lee Hancock’s film, Leto got one Golden Globe nomination for best supporting actor and one for all Screen Actors Guild Award. Deputy Joe Deacon faces a demanding investigation alongside successful young detective Jimmy Baxter to catch a serial killer terrorizing the city of Los Angeles.
