Juve capital gains, Abodi: “Government will not be a taxable person”

The Minister of Sport: “We want to make a contribution”

“My message is that of an institutional subject who does not want to remain passive or an observer of degenerative factors”. So Andrea Abodi, minister for sport and youth, on the sidelines of the presentation of the Corsa del Remembrance, regarding a possible government intervention in the case of capital gains, in the foreground after the procedure that led to the 15-point penalty imposed on the Juventus.

“It is never my intervention, but it will be collegial -adds Abodi on the sidelines of the presentation of the Corsa del Remembrance at Palazzo Chigi-. One does not intervene straight leg on a topic only with the assumption of improving the context. There are autonomies, there are roles. But we want to make a contribution to improve and what will be the responsibility of the Government will be done in concert with Parliament. Then we need a sense of responsibility: we don’t have much time because I perceive the distrust of public opinion and the need to understand the decisions. I will take care of this, to ensure that the decisions taken are explained and a point is put to start again”.
