Juventus transfer market, Kean’s move to Atletico Madrid fails

It is not excluded that the player will leave Turin anyway

Moise Kean’s move to Atletico Madrid has faded. According to what Sky Sport reports, the negotiation for the loan transfer of the Juventus striker was blocked in the final hours of the January 2024 transfer market and has now definitively fallen through. The Juventus striker – out of action for a month due to a tibia problem – underwent extensive physical tests in the Spanish capital yesterday.

Atletico’s medical staff believes that the time required to be able to field him on the pitch is longer than that expected in Italy. A few more weeks were still needed to re-athlete him after the injury. And so, despite continuous contacts between the two clubs to break the deadlock, the Spanish club decided not to wait for Kean, who had been in Madrid since Sunday and witnessed Atletico’s 2-0 win against Valencia at the ‘Wanda Metropolitano ‘, therefore he returns to Turin, but it is not certain that he will remain at Juventus. He could still leave, if an alternative solution is found, in this market session.
