kanye-west remains mired in legal trouble, as a production and design label has sued the rapper for more than $7 million.
PhantomLabs worked on the artist’s multiple projects, including the live broadcast of donda 2 the concert Free Larry Hoover of West with Drake and his canceled performance in Coachella in 2022.
According to US media, legal documents state that the 44-year-old hip-hop star agreed to pay the fee after his headlining turn at the popular festival.
“We are incredibly proud of the work we did with Ye and are disappointed that such a fruitful relationship has come to this.”said a spokesperson for Phantom Labs, in a statement provided to Variety.
“A celebrity who uses fame and reputation as weapons to take advantage of eager collaborators is simply unacceptable.”
According to the claims, West must pay $7,154,177.67, accrued between June 2021 and March 2022, to the firm.
Meanwhile, the boyfriend of West’s ex-partner, kim kardashian, Peter Davidsonrecently admitted that marriage is on his mind amid his romance with the founder of SKIMS.
Speaking on Hart to Heart, Davidson confirmed that he “100 percent” wants to get married in the future.
