Kobo Clara 2E, the eReader that accompanies you in all circumstances

Traveling, on the train, on the subway, on the beach, on the sofa, in the bathtub: wherever you are, you can always find a good moment to read, thanks to Clara 2E. Rakuten Kobo’s latest eReader promises to accompany us on every occasion. We have tried it.

Advanced technology and features

Very light, practical, waterproof, Kobo Clara 2E is made with an exterior in over 85% recycled plastic. The HD touchscreen is anti-glare and offers high resolution, adjustable brightness and temperature control, for comfortable reading in all circumstances. There is also the ComfortLight Pro function, with blue light reduction, to be able to read even at night before going to sleep, without affecting the quality of sleep. And when you need to rest your eyes, just use Bluetooth wireless technology, which lets you listen to Kobo audiobooks through headphones.

A boundless read

Kobo Clara 2E allows unlimited reading access. Directly from your eReader you can buy millions of eBooks and audiobooks in the Kobo store. But you can also connect to the local library, to be able to borrow books without even having to leave the house. One of the most interesting functions is the one that allows you to read online texts and newspaper articles on the eReader, saved via the Pocket app. Thus even the daily news can be read on the Clara 2E, which offers significantly better comfort than reading on a tablet or mobile phone. One aspect that could be improved is the touchscreen system, which could be even more fluid and responsive. The battery is excellent, which can last several weeks, while the memory space corresponds to 16 gigabytes. To protect your device, protective covers are also available in black, ocean blue, coral red and teal. Even the covers, as well as the device, are made with recycled materials. List price 149.99 euros.
