Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard had a problem in the bedroom
On the February 7th episode of the podcast Armchair Expert by Dax ShepardKristen Bell was a special guest.
During their conversation, Bell revealed that her two daughters sleep on the floor in her bedroom and admitted that having four people in one room can be a bit…stinky.
“A few nights ago, I smelled a really foul smell and thought, ‘Who’s farting?'” Bell said. She accepted that her family “has gas” and went to bed. However, the next morning, when she woke up, the smell was something worse: he smelled “burnt”.
Bell explained that he washed the sheets, opened the doors, and lit a few candles in an effort to get rid of the smell, but found that it didn’t work.
Bell asked her family if anyone else smelled what she smelled, explaining that her youngest daughter, who is “sensitive to odors,” said she smelled the odor too.
But they could not find out its origin. After looking around, Bell decided to smell the mattress. When he smelled the “foot corner of Dax’s mattress… [ella] almost passed out,” Bell said.
However, it wasn’t actually Shepard’s feet that was causing the stench. Turns out it was the OOLERa water-based machine that they use to keep the bed at the perfect temperature (as it cools or heats, as the case may be).
As the OOLER needs water to function, one night, Shepard had a glass of something that wasn’t water, and it may have been an old protein shake instead.”
The next morning, they tried to clean it up, but finally decided there was no way to save it.
