Landscapers – A Near Perfect Crime, Sky mini-series trailer

Sky today unveils the official trailer for Landscapers – A near-perfect crime, a four-part Sky / HBO miniseries starring the Academy Award®-winning actress Olivia Colman (La Favorita, The Crown, The Father, Broadchurch) And David Thewlis (I’m Thinking Of Ending Things, Fargo) which will arrive on Sky and streamed on NOW on January 14, 2022.

Inspired by an astonishingly dramatic true story that occurred in England in 1998, the Sky Original miniseries was created and written by Ed Sinclair and directed and scripted by Will Sharpe (The Electrical Life of Louis Wain, Flowers). Landscapers is the most recent project developed by SISTER for Sky Studios and HBO after Chernobyl, among the most awarded and appreciated series ever.

Alongside Colman and Thewlis, Kate O’Flynn (Bridget Jones’s Baby), Dipo Ola (We Hunt Together), Samuel Anderson (The History Boys), David Hayman (The boy in the striped pajamas), Felicity Montagu (I’m Alan Partridge) and Daniel Rigby (Eric and Ernie, Flowers). Landscapers is a Sky and HBO co-production. NBCUniversal Global Distribution is handling international sales on behalf of Sky Studios.

Landscapers tells the intriguing and disturbing (true) story of Susan and Christopher Edwards, a quiet middle-aged English couple who at one point find themselves at the center of a murder investigation – and not by accident. The Edwards, in fact, are responsible for the killing of her parents (as well as for the theft of a large sum of money from the bank account of the deceased) and have been on the run for fifteen years. The sudden discovery of the corpses of the two elders, however, completely disrupts the cards on the table, and overnight the dreamer Susan – passionate about cinema to the point of imagining herself as the protagonist of various films – and her Christopher find themselves making you count with the police and their pasts.
