Eight platinum albums have officially made it Sirius the rap album with the highest number of certifications in history. Lazza celebrated the record with a post on Instagram during his stay in America: “I’m overseas. I just found out that Sirius a few hours ago it celebrated eight platinum records, thus becoming the most certified rap album. What a hit. Thank you all”.
The album, released in April 2022, was preceded by the single Ouv3rturewhich they followed Molotov And Panic. In February this year the rapper obtained second place at the 73rd edition of the Sanremo Festival with the song Ashincluded in the digital re-release of the album.
Previously Sirius obtained another important record, that of the album with the greatest number of weeks at first position in the history of the FIMI charts. Furthermore, Sirius it was the best-selling album of 2022.
In recent months Lazza has also dominated the summer charts by collaborating with Drillionaire for the song Good tone together with Blanco, Sfera Ebbasta and Michelangelo. The single went triple platinum.
