A very positive day for Piazza Affari, in the wake of all the other European Stock Exchanges, which are strengthening together with Wall Street (where there is a maxi rally of car companies and those of air transport and navigation). The Ftse Mib closed gaining 3.42%, at 21,690.65 points. The spread between German BTPs and Bunds remains stable, around 230 basis points, and the yield on the 10-year bond, which travels around 4%. According to Pierre Veyret, technical analyst at ActivTrade, “market optimism seems to be back”, driven by the prospect of a possible drop in oil supply on the markets and by hopes of a spike in the restrictive monetary strategies of central banks.
Intesa Sanpaolo stands out on the main list of Piazza Affari (+ 3.11%). The bank purchased 102.01 million of its own shares at the end of September. The total value of the transaction is € 173.61 million. Excellent performances also for Fineco (+ 5.88%), Moncler (+ 8.07%), Nexi (+ 6.43%), Stm (+ 5.41%), Interpump (+ 6.34%), Diasorin (+ 4.17%), Saipem (+ 6.40%), Bper (+ 4.25%), Amplifon (+ 4.47%), Pirelli (+ 4.07%), Prysmian (+5.49 %) and Iveco (+ 4.08%).
At the end of the list, however, the only slightly negative result is that of Atlantia (-0.04%). Consob has given the green light to the document on the voluntary takeover bid promoted by Schema Alfa on the holding. The offer will start on 10 October and will end on 11 November.
