Leolandia wins the Oscar for best live show in amusement parks

The family theme park most loved by childrenthird in Italy for number of visitors, won the award for Best Indoor Show with musical The Lost Island, presented at the beginning of 2023 and on stage throughout the summer season. The award was presented to the art director Andrea Manenti, creator and director of all the Leolandia shows, during the gala evening which took place at the Movieland theater – The Hollywood Park (Lazise – VR) in front of an audience of over 400 professionals and enthusiasts. This is the motivation: “The Lost Island is an acrobatic musical tale, with a cast of over 30 international artists who, among immersive scenography, laser beams, special effects and wonderful costumes, interpret the inhabitants of the island. A skilful mix of emotions for a production masterfully orchestrated by the tested and close-knit artistic team of Leolandia

Giuseppe Ira declared: “All our live shows are produced internally and we are therefore doubly proud to receive this award, overcoming the fierce competition of over 50 Italian amusement parks. The live entertainment within Leolandia is designed to excite both children and adults and becomes an important moment of sharing emotions. We invest heavily in this sector and, together with the other Italian parks, we generate a significant impact for the live entertainment sector”.

the protection of biodiversity

Designed to raise awareness of children and adults on the topic of protection of biodiversity, the show “The Lost Island” is dedicated to the adventures of a young researcher on a mysterious island, dominated by dark forces that imprison the energy and life force of the animals that inhabit it. Among colorful parrots, acrobatic reptiles, jungle animals and creatures of the night, the protagonist tries to recover the missing parts of a totem, on whose integrity the very salvation of the island depends.


In these days, the theming of continues in Leolandia HalLEOween which will culminate in an extraordinary day-event on October 31st: between sweets, treats and other surprises to laugh at, the only family-friendly Halloween will be celebrated until late in the evening, taking advantage of the park opening from 10am to 9.30pm, with a grand finale featuring fireworks. HalLEOween will continue until Sunday 5 November and then make way for Enchanted Christmaswhich will accompany guests until Sunday 7 January 2024.
