Each of the six winning researchers will be awarded a prize worth 20,000 euros
L’Oréal Italia announces the extension of the call for participation in the twenty-second edition of the Young Talents Italia Award – L’Oréal Italia Unesco for Women and Science. Interested researchers will be able to present the apply via the site http://www.forwomeninscience.com/within and no further than February 12, 2024. The program, promoted in collaboration with the Italian National Commission for UNESCO, has rewarded 112 female researchers in its twenty-two year history, supporting their research projects and studies in our country. The Award becomes broader and is open to all female researchers
To involve a larger number of researchers and to have greater compatibility with other scholarships of which the candidates may be winners, from this year the scholarship becomes an award. An opening that wants to once again give a strong signal: concrete support for young researchers who will be able, thanks to the Award, to carry on their research activity and their study project.
They will then be assigned six Prizes worth 20,000 euros eachin the fields of Life Sciences, Environmental Sciences, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Engineering and Technologies. The Award judging commission will examine the candidate projects, made up of a panel of nine Italian university professors and scientific experts, including the President Prof. Lucia VotanoResearch Director emerita at the National Institute of Nuclear Physics.
