The history of Dubai it began in the 19th century. The areas of Hatta, Al Qusais and Jumeirah indicate that the city was inhabited 3,000 years before Christ.

It all began in 1894, when Sheikh Saeed Al Maktoum he strengthened trade with the extension of taxes.
