Another great international satisfaction for i Maneskins. The band won at the American Music Awards with the track Begginin the category Favorite Rock Song.
Maneskin, the victory
After the victories at Sanremo, Eurovision, MTV EMA and MTV VMA, the Maneskin also add the coveted American Music Award to the list. The awards night took place last night, Sunday, November 20, at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, in recognition of the most popular artists and music. The group led by Damian David took home the award in the Favorite Rock Song category, favorite rock song of the year, with the covers of Beggin, a song first made famous by the Four Seasons in 1967. The Maneskin thus surpassed the likes of Kate Bush, Foo Fighters, Imagine Dragons with JID and the Red Hot Chili Peppers. As always, the band also carefully chose the outfits to show off at the evening: all four showed up in jackets and ties combined with suspenders/trousers. The Maneskin were also nominated at the 2022 American Music Awards in 3 other categories: New Artist of the Year (Dove Cameron won here), Favorite Pop Duo or Group (BTS won) and Favorite Rock Artist (Machine Gun Kelly won ).
