Mare Fuori 4, when the new season comes out and what it will be about

Sea Outside 4 finally has an official release date: the fourth chapter of the series produced by Picomedia is preparing to return on Thursday 1 February, the date on which the first six episodes will be available on RaiPlay.

The free-to-air broadcast on Rai2, however, is scheduled for Wednesday 14 February in prime time, which from then on will broadcast all 12 episodes, dividing them into 6 weeks of programming

Last September the Rai Fiction executive Michele Zatta, guest at the Digithon 2023 together with some members of the cast of the television series Sea Outside, had offered some previews on the release of the fourth season, as well as giving indiscretions on the plot. Zatta had said that the new season would arrive in February 2024 on RaiPlay, without however going into detail, in the sense that the exact date had not been shared. Only in the last few hours has the announcement finally arrived, which is why fans of the show must mark February 1st and also February 14th.

“There will be a surprise in Sanremo,” Rai Fiction manager Michele Zatta anticipated last September.

The filming of Sea Outside 4 they were ongoing until autumn 2023. Meanwhile, fans of this Rai series are no longer in awe: they are impatiently awaiting the arrival of a fourth act.

In this climate of frantic anticipation, it is clear that the anticipations take root well, immediately taking root in the minds and hearts of those who love this show so much.
Rai Fiction executive Michele Zatta took advantage of DigithON 2023, the event held in September 2023 in Bisceglie, to offer some succulent tasting.

In addition to him, some members of the cast of the TV series were present at the event, including Francesco Panarella (interpreter of Cucciolo), Carmine Recano (the actor who plays the role of Commander Massimo) and Vincenzo Ferrera (the educator Beppe) .

When he comes out Sea Outside 4

Before any rumors, it is important to know when the fourth season will arrive. Just as Zatta had confirmed, i.e. that the show would arrive in February 2024, the first six episodes will be available exclusively on RaiPlay on Thursday 1 February, while the free-to-air episode on Rai2 is scheduled for Wednesday 14 February in prime time. Starting from Valentine’s Day, Rai2 will broadcast all 12 episodes divided into 6 weeks of programming

In short: as happened with the third season, the show will be released first on the RaiPlay platform and only later will it be broadcast on Rai2.

It seems that the series will be released in two installments, each of which will consist of six episodes. Given that the Rai manager has made it known that there will be some surprises on the Ariston stage, on the occasion of the next edition of the Sanremo Festival, it means that the famous Italian singing event could perhaps be used as a launch pad. In the last edition of the Sanremo event there was the presence – as guests – of the cast members of the TV series, but this time rather than participation as guest stars there could even be the participation in the competition of a member of the cast, namely Matteo Paolillo. However, for now these are only rumors, or rather: suppositions that run online, bouncing from fan to fan on social networks. Furthermore, Paolillo clearly said the following in December 2023: “Sanremo? I will only go there when I am ready for that stage”, these were his words during an interview with the newspaper The messenger.

The previews regarding Sea Outside 4

As we said, some previews have been offered about the plot of the fourth season of Sea Outside. There will be the return of three characters much appreciated by the public, namely those of Ciro (played by Giacomo Giorgio), Pirucchio (played by Nicolò Galasso) and Pino (alias Antonio Orefice).
Below you will find one spoilersso if you haven’t made it to the end of season number three of Sea Outside do not read the following.

Clearly the presence of the aforementioned actors and their respective characters will be through some flashbacks, given that what happened to Ciro, Pirucchio and Pino certainly cannot make the three rise again… But the ways of entertainment are infinite, and who knows? find yourself in a “MareFuoriVerse”!
Jokes aside, in all likelihood it will be flashbacks. Also the director of Sea Outside Ivan Silvestrini has already made extensive use of this narrative technique for the previous chapters.

There will be “an unexpected and overwhelming love story”

Other previews are those that confuse the waters a bit but which still give important information: “One of Commander Massimo, Cucciolo and Beppe will have an unexpected and overwhelming love story”. These words were not accompanied by any type of detail , however, the comment of one of the interesting directors is eloquent, i.e. Carmine Recano, interpreter of Massimo Esposito, who ruled out that the overwhelming passionate story could involve his character. “It would be obvious”, admitted Recano.

The character of Cucciolo will be at the center of the fourth season

Francesco Panarella, interpreter of Cucciolo, also attended the event held in Bisceglie in September 2023. Precisely this character will be the fulcrum of the fourth season of Sea outside. Even in this case, Be careful because a spoiler followsso if you haven’t seen the third season of the series end yet, don’t continue reading.

In the third season finale, one of the episodes focuses on Cucciolo’s homosexuality and his relationship with Milos. Certainly all this will be resumed in the fourth chapter which will arrive in February 2024.

We will also have to say goodbye to some important characters

Unfortunately, another novelty of the fourth season concerns the farewell of some important characters of the series, as director Silvestrini revealed in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter Rome. Also in this case, a bit like in the case of the “unexpected and overwhelming love story” anticipated in recent days, the sin was said but not the sinner, as they say. The director has not specified which actors will have to be done without from a certain point in the fourth season onwards, leaving a bit of healthy suspense to linger.
Ivan Silvestrini, however, added that some of these characters could have their ending in the film based on the series, which is currently being written.
