Maturity 2024, second test subjects: Greek to classical, mathematics to scientific

The Minister of Education and Merit Giuseppe Valditara signs the decree: “The exam will take place like last year”

Greek at classical high school, mathematics at scientific high school. These are some of the subjects chosen for the second written test of the 2024 Maturity, according to the decree signed by the Minister of Education and Merit Giuseppe Valditara. For the other addresses: Business Economics for technical institutes in the economic sector, ‘Administration, Finance and Marketing’ address; Topography for the address ‘Buildings, Environment and Territory’.

“The 2024 high school diploma will take place in continuity with the methods established for last year”, said the Minister of Education and Merit, Giuseppe Valditara. “The publication of the subjects of the second test is the first step towards the State Exam which has a fundamental, even symbolic, value in the growth path of every girl and boy. It is in fact a turning point in the personal and educational path: the school experience ends and one is called to decide on the continuation of one’s studies or on entry into the world of work. This year the graduates and their families will also be able to count on the support of the guidance teachers who, in collaboration with the class teaching group, will be able to help them make informed choices, in light of the inclinations of the students and the subsequent training offer, university or ITS, but also the employment offer of the area. A figure, that of the guidance teacher, which we strongly wanted so that the school is increasingly closer to its children in building their future”.
