This is provided for in the bill ratifying the agreement between Italy and Albania on the management of migratory flows which the Council of Ministers gave the green light today. Tajani: “The agreement with Tirana costs less than the super bonus scams. We are under 200 million and they will be well spent”
Yes to the bill to ratify the agreement between Italy and Albania on the management of migrants. The green light arrived this afternoon from the Council of Ministers at Palazzo Chigi. In the bill, among other points, there is also the specification on migrants who can be welcomed in Tirana. In fact, “only people embarked on vehicles of the Italian authorities outside the territorial sea of the Republic or other member states of the European Union can be taken to the structures provided for by the Protocol between Italy and Albania, also following rescue operations” .
The annual costs of the agreement on migrants with Albania “are lower than those mentioned”, underlined the Foreign Minister, Antonio Tajani, at the end of the meeting. “We are under 200 million – he added – and they will be well spent to tackle the fight against irregular immigration and they are many fewer than those seized by the Financial Police for misuse of the superbonus”.
