Milan-Cortina, the Committee launches the Young Reporters project

The selections until March 31st, it is a unique opportunity that will allow the winners to experience the Gangwon 2024 Winter Youth Olympic Games

Opened by the Organizing Committee of the Olympic Games and Winter Paralympics of Milan Cortina 2026 the selection to identify two girls and two boys between the ages of 18 and 24 to be involved in the programme Young Reporters of the International Olympic Committee. It is, underlines the Committee, “a unique opportunity that will allow the profiles identified to experience the Winter Youth Olympic Games of Gangwon 2024 (South Korea) from a completely unique perspective, following specialized training on various aspects of sports journalism and how to cover important events such as the Olympic Games”.

To participate in the selection, the Committee warns that there is time until 31 March 2023. The final evaluation of the best profiles will be handled by the International Olympic Committee which, among the four finalists indicated by Milano Cortina 2026, will choose two. The winners will live an unrepeatable experience from 19 January to 1 February 2024 as protagonists of the story – photographic, social and video – of the Gangwon Winter Youth Olympic Games. In close contact with Ioc representatives, they will be able to follow specific modules dedicated to writing, photos, videos, radio and social media. Rules and details on the initiative:
