‘Milano Digital Week’ kicks off, opening event at Palazzo Marino with Beppe Sala

The sixth edition of the ‘Milan Digital Week’ kicks off tomorrow, Thursday 5 October, with a conference at Palazzo Marino, headquarters of the Municipality of Milan. annual review of events spread throughout the city on the topics of digital transition and technological innovation.

The opening meeting, at 11 am in Sala Alessi, in the presence of the mayor of Milan Giuseppe Sala, is open to all and dedicated to innovations at the service of citizens, with a video speech by Petro Olenych, chief digital transformation officer and deputy mayor of digitalization of Kyiv. Speakers include Andrea Granelli, CEO of Kanso and the Venture Thinking Foundation, Layla Pavone, coordinator of the board for technological innovation and digital transformation of the Municipality of Milan, Nicola Zanardi, president of HubLab, Sergio Amati, general director of Iab Italia, Matteo Scarabelli , chief communications officer of Cariplo Factory, Gianna Martinengo, president and founder of Women&Tech and member of the board for technological innovation and digital transformation of the Municipality of Milan.

The afternoon of meetings will then continue in the Conference Room of Palazzo Reale. At 2.30 pm, ‘Digital citizenship. Forms of inclusion in civic services’, with the councilor for civic services, Gaia Romani; at 4pm, ‘MaaS Mobility as a Service’, the digital project that integrates the Milanese mobility offer into a single solution, with Mobility Councilor Arianna Censi; at 5pm, ‘Open Budget, online payments, digital notifications: transparency and efficiency at the service of citizens’, in collaboration with PagoPa, with the Councilor for Budget and Heritage Emmanuel Conte.

Also in the afternoon, at the Trotter Park theater in via Giacosa, ‘School 4.0: Pnrr funds and the open challenges in the digital transition of Milanese schools’ is scheduled at 3.30 pm with the deputy mayor and education councilor Anna Scavuzzo. The ‘Bio Inspired Designed’ meeting will be held at 5pm at the Scuola civica Arte & Messaggio in via Giusti. Bio-compatible design in harmony with nature. The day will close with ‘Children and digital: a possible relationship?’, in the auditorium of the Spiga primary school in via Santo Spirito.
