100 thousand signatures already arrived in a few hours for the petition on the minimum wage immediately. The data was provided by the co-spokesman of Green Europe and deputy of Alleanza Verdi e Sinistra, Angelo Bonelliin a video posted on social media, with reference to the collection of signatures for the petition www.salariominimosubito.it.
“As always, Giorgia Meloni utters a word of propaganda. Today she explains to Corriere that extra profits to banks would be an act of social justice, in the meantime let’s check what will happen, but the premier seems to forget that with the lack of income from energy extra profits, she has allowed the bloodletting of families banks, causing it to fail. And there is a well-founded risk that it could also happen with the one on banks, considering how the law is written. And this would be yet another social injustice. While Meloni makes propaganda – says Bonelli – we continue our mobilization of the oppositions with almost 100 thousand signatures already arrived in a few hours for the petition on the minimum wage immediately, to respond to the 4 million Italians who earn less than 9 euros an hour”.
“The response of the Italians in the first 24 hours of collecting signatures online was extraordinary – says the national secretary of the Italian Left, Nicola Fratoianniparliamentarian of the Green and Left Alliance – It is no coincidence: because the words ‘work’ and ‘poor’ can no longer be in the same sentence, minimum wage immediately”.
“In these hours, extraordinary meetings of the regional coordinators and provincial secretaries of the Italian Left have been held online, to organize starting from after August 15th also the collection of signatures for the ‘immediate minimum wage’ in the territories, in tourist resorts and in the local festivals of Si”, concludes Fratoianni.
