The wreck of the plane that disappeared in Nepal was found. The Nepalese search and rescue authorities have identified the crash site of the Tara Air company aircraft with 22 people on board, including 19 passengers and 3 crew members, whose contacts were lost just minutes after take-off yesterday. The plane took off from Pokhara Airport at 9.55 am local time and was due to land in Jomsom at 10.20 am.
A spokesman for the Nepalese army posted the photo of the crash site on Twitter. The plane is seen shattered on a mountain strewn with debris. Among the images is what appears to show a wing of the plane. The spokesman, General Narayan Silwal, said the plane crashed in the Mustang district near Jomsom.
Rescuers recovered the bodies of 14 people who were on board the plane, the Nepalese army reported, specifying that the crash site has been identified in the Mustang district.
