L’Digital Observatory analyzed the activities of 196 heads of government on social channels, ie the followers, interactions and engagement that the most powerful world leaders have created with their posts on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter in the last three months. Just off the podium was the president of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdoganwhich is therefore fourth in this special ranking with its 40 million followers, the same position it holds as regards theoverall engagement (user interactions to published posts)

It is obviously the one that has had the highest growth in the last two years, in fifth place in the ranking is the Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky with 27 million followers. The interaction with his community is also excellent, earning him the second post behind Lula in terms of engagement

Behind Zelensky is the president of Brazil Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, with over 25 million followers. However, Bolsonaro’s successor is in first place in terms of overall engagement, with over 80 million likes and comments on his posts
Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni is in nineteenth place for followers among world leaders with more than 6 million followers, but with excellent engagement (ninth place) and 410 contents published in the last three months
