MotoGp Malaysia, Bagnaia wins and mortgages the title

Seventh success of the season. 258 points in the standings, +23 on Fabio Quartararo

Francis Bagnaia wins the Malaysian GP of MotoGp, seventh success of the season, extends the world rankings and mortgages the title, taking 258 points to +23 on Fabio Quartararo, who finished third on the Sepang circuit. The title between the two will therefore be awarded in the last race of the season in Valencia on 6 November. Excellent second place in Malaysia for the Ducati of Enea Bastianini’s Gresini team which is third in the world rankings with Aleix Espargaro.

In Valencia, Bagnaia will be world champion by conquering a 14th place, 13 years after Valentino Rossi, while the Frenchman of Yamaha will be forced to win in order to hope to repeat the title. Marco Bezzecchi also performed well in Malaysia, finishing fourth ahead of Rins and Miller. Seventh place for Marc Marquez’s Honda, while Binder, Zarco and tenth Franco Morbidelli close the top ten. Only 11th Aleix Espargaro.
