MTV EMA 2022, the appointment is Sunday 13 from 8 pm: guests, nominations and where to see them

Rita Oraaward-winning star of world music, and the writer, director, actor and Academy Award® and GRAMMY Award winner, Taika Waititi will lead the “MTV EMAs” 2022, live from Düsseldorf, Germany, Sunday 13th November.

In Italy, all Paramount Italia adult target brands will give broad coverage to the 2022 MTV EMAs. In Italy the live event will be broadcast on Sunday 13 November starting at 8.00 pm with the Pre Show and from 9.00 pm with the Live Show on MTV (Sky channel 131 and streaming on NOW) and VH1 (channel 167 DTT, 22 Tivùsat and Sky channel 715) with the commentary in Italian by Carolina Di Domenico and Jody Cecchetto, on MTV Music (Sky channel 132 and 704). The show will be simulcast on Comedy Central (channel 129 Sky and streaming on NOW) starting at 21.00. The event special will be available On Demand from Monday 14 November also on Paramount +Paramount’s new streaming service. On Pluto TVstarting today through Sunday 13 November VH1 + will turn into a channel entirely dedicated to the EMA’s with the best moments of the MTV awards in recent years waiting for the live in the original language on the evening of Sunday 13.

The EMAs are not just a show, but a cultural phenomenon dedicated to all music lovers, an experience not to be missed and to be lived to the fullest. Taking the stage in this edition of 2022: Harry Styles, leading the group of artists with seven nominations, including “Best Artist” “Best Song” And “Best Video”followed by Taylor Swift with six nominations including “Best Artist,” “Best Pop,” and “Best Longform Video”Nicki Minaj and ROSALÍA both with five nominations including “Best Song” and “Best Artist.” Streaming billionaire artist Ava Max and Bebe Rexha, along with David Guetta, have been nominated for “Best Collaboration”. The band is also a candidate for the 2022 EMAs as “Best Alternative”. On the stage of the EMAs also Muse, Stormzy with a nomination for the “Best Longform Video” and the OneRepublic.

They compete for the title for the category Best Italian Act Aries, Blanco, Elodie, the Nuclear Tactical Penguins and the Måneskin, also candidates in the category Best Rock.

This edition sees 17 new artists nominated for the first time, including Chencho Corleone and Stephen, Dove Cameron, Doechii, Baby Keem, Kim Petras, Mae Muller, Saucy Santana, Shensee, Summer Walker and Wet Leg. Year of the debut at the EMAs, however, for Lewis Capaldi, winner of the “Best New Artist” award in 2020, GAYLE, nominated at the EMA 2022 for “Best New” and “Best Push and the Kalush Orchestra, the Ukrainian band that won the Eurovision Song Contest 2022. First time on the most important stage in Europe also for SPINALL, known for its large collection of successful singles and for its unparalleled ability at the console, and Äyanna a young singer-songwriter British and Nasty C, an award-winning South African rapper. Many music stars will go up on the stage of the MTV EMAs 2022 but not only: many exceptional personalities will be on the stage of the PSD Bank Dome, including the actor, singer and superstar David Hasselhoff, the model and influencer of German origin Leonie Hanne and Canadian singer-songwriter Lauren Spencer Smith along with GRAMMY-nominated singer-songwriter Julian Lennon, world-renowned model and activist Leomie Anderson and British singer-songwriter and TikTok star Sam Ryder who will deliver the awards during the evening along with Rita Ora and Taika Waititi.

During the evening, MTV in partnership with Choose Love, will also deliver the “MTV EMA Generation Change Award” 2022 to Lina Deshvar, Anna Kutova and Anfisa Yakovina, three Ukrainian women who have given shelter to refugees, evacuated and assisted families with children , adolescents and young people with disabilities, provided therapy and group support for women and families separated from their loved ones, and more. The winners will be honored during the MTV EMA Red Carpet, which is broadcast live on MTV globally and streamed on on Sunday 13 November.

MTV Entertainment Group, a division of Paramount, has selected the winners of the “MTV EMA Generation Change” in collaboration with Choose Love, a leading non-profit humanitarian organization providing aid and support to refugees around the world. This partnership will continue MTV and Paramount’s efforts to use the Content for Change initiative to promote diversity, equity and inclusion around the world.
