Måneskin won again. The Italian band triumphed with a double prize at the MTV European Music Awards 2023, the demonstration planned in Paris but canceled due to the international crisis following the outbreak of the conflict in the Middle East between Israel and Hamas. Damiano, Victoria, Ethan and Thomas broke other records for Italy thanks to the achievement of the prestigious recognition Best Rockwho left behind groups that wrote the history of world music such as Metallica, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Arctic Monkeys, Foo Fighters and The Killers, and of Best Italian Act, where they got the better of Annalisa, Elodie, Lazza and The Kolors. This is how Måneskin won two of the four categories for which they had received a nomination, which also included Best Group and Best Live, and continued the success already confirmed a few weeks ago by the winning the Best Rock award at the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards and two years ago from the one just as Best Rock at the MTV EMA 2021.
