Murder on the Nile, the Italian trailer of the new Branagh film


After Murder on the Orient Express, Hercule Poirot is ready to return to the big screen, once again played by Kenneth Branagh. The English actor and director, plays and directs his second film inspired by the novels of Agatha Christie, Murder on the Nile, flanked by a cast of stars. The release in Italian cinemas is scheduled for 10 February, after two and a half years of postponements linked first to the production of the film and then to the Covid pandemic. And Walt Disney has decided to distribute the film exclusively in theaters and not on its Disney + streaming platform. At the top of this page you can see the trailer of the film.

Murder on the Nile, the plot

The film is based on Agatha Christie’s 1937 novel of the same name. Belgian detective Hercule Poirot’s vacation in Egypt aboard an elegant steamship turns into a terrifying search for a killer when a perfect couple’s idyllic honeymoon is tragically cut short. Set in an epic setting featuring sweeping desert vistas and the majestic pyramids of Giza, this dramatic story of a love gone wrong features a cosmopolitan group of flawless-looking travelers, with twists that will leave audiences in suspense until the shocking final revelation.

MURDER ON THE NILE, THE CAST

In the cast, with Kenneth Branagh, a long list of stars from Hollywood and the surrounding area: Annette Bening, Russell Brand, Ali Fazal, Dawn French, Gal Gadot, Armie Hammer, Rose Leslie, Emma Mackey, Sophie Okonedo, Jennifer Saunders and Letitia Wright. The film brings together the same team as Murder on the Orient Express, with a screenplay by Michael Green. Producers are Ridley Scott, Kenneth Branagh, pga, Judy Hofflund, pga and Kevin J. Walsh, while Mark Gordon, Simon Kinberg, Matthew Jenkins, James Prichard and Matthew Prichard serve as executive producers.
