Forlì founded by the Romans, strategically located along the Via Emilia between the sea and the Apennines, is a city that for its landscape, its squares and its palaces deserves a visit every month of the year. But these days, through the magic of an important set-up for the Christmas period, everything buys a different charm, you really enter a world of enchantment for the delight of the little ones but also the adults.
Its most important square, Piazza Saffi, is dressed up for the holidays, lighting up with plays of light and suggestive scenographies. Fun and emotions are guaranteed, amazement as well. The theme of the video mapping throughout the Town Hall is inspired by the electric trains of childhood. The protagonist is the Dream Train which will reveal ever new worlds as it passes by, snowy woods, romantic scenographies, reminiscent of the ancient music boxes. The journey ends with the projection of a greeting message from the city to all visitors, with suggestive 2D and 3D effects.
The splendid architecture of the Church of San Mercuriale will be made magnificent through video projections with spectacular lighting effects. Furthermore, the nativity will be told through the projection of the pictorial works of the great masters of Italian painting. The installation of magical lights along all the courses, the brand new elliptical skating rink, the large fir tree, the carousel of the horses and the Christmas houses perfect the frame of “Forlì that shines”, a logo symbol of a luminous city and full of activities for all generations. Until the Epiphany Forlì will continue to shine with a rich schedule of events: from gospel choirs, the Living Nativity of Children, markets and many other activities.
