Naples, here is the Manfredi junta: five women out of eleven councilors

Gaetano Manfredi has appointed his municipal council in Naples: 11 councilors of which 5 are women. The mayor will present his team at a press conference at 12 noon on Friday 22 October. Below are the names of the councilors with relative powers: Deputy Mayor with responsibility for Education and the Family will be the principal Mia Filippone. The former Undersecretary for the Economy of Conte bis Pierpaolo Baretta in the Financial Statements; the former magistrate Paolo Mancuso, current president of the Naples Democratic Party; the former police commissioner of Naples Antonio De Iesu to the Municipal Legality and Police. Infrastructure and mobility will be dealt with by the president of the Order of Engineers of Naples, Edoardo Cosenza.

Many delegations to the mayor: from Culture to Pnrr

In Urban Planning the Federico II teacher Laura Lieto; to Tourism Teresa Armato, of the Democratic Party, who already dealt with this issue as a regional councilor; to youth and employment policies Chiara Marciani, former regional councilor for Equal Opportunities. Health and green will be handled by Vincenzo Santagada, president of the Order of Pharmacists of Naples; to Sport and Equal Opportunities Emanuela Ferrante of the M5s; to social policies Luca Trapanese, an exponent of associations particularly committed to minors, also known for being the first Italian single to adopt a girl with Down syndrome. The mayor maintains the following powers for himself: Culture; Port; Pnrr, European Funding and Territorial Cohesion; Big Projects; Staff; Organization; Decentralization; Digitization and innovation.
