Inzaghi: “Super Cup final with dangers against a quality Napoli”
Inzaghi is aiming for a third consecutive triumph, which would make him the most successful coach in the history of the competition with five titles. The Super Cup in Riyadh “is a final, many times it is decided by episodes. We have to be very careful because it has pitfalls, but the team must continue to work as it has done in this period”, said Inter coach Simone Inzaghi. “We are coming from an excellent semi-final, we are playing against the Italian champions who also won 3-0. They had some problems in the championship and changed coaches, but it is a team with a long squad and a lot of quality.”
Mazzarri: “I hope to be able to lift the Super Cup”
“In my 23-year career I have competed for this trophy twice, I hope to be able to lift it”, says Napoli coach Walter Mazzarri. “Otherwise I’m happy anyway, not all coaches who start from scratch like me get to play it twice. For the team, I don’t think it’s easy to repeat a Super Cup: they have to take advantage of it and this must be the incentive.”
