Nautica, Stella: “Made in Italy is booming”

“The report presented by Deloitte for Confindustria Nautical confirms the photograph of a booming sector. A double-digit growth rate will be confirmed for 2022, therefore a sign of a very dynamic and very fast Made in Italy industrial sector to resume the growth curve on international markets”. As Marina Stella, general manager of Confindustria Nautica, on the sidelines of the presentation of “The state of the art of global yachting market” the study prepared by Deloitte for Confindustria Nautica. The report was illustrated at Palazzo Mezzanotte, headquarters of Borsa Italiana in Milan, in the presence of some of the main operators in the sector and leading exponents of the financial world.

“Today’s meeting – continues Stella – also offered the opportunity for a round table which saw the participation of entrepreneurs in the sector who have already entered the stock market and others who are entering. It was thus possible to talk about the tools which, also from the point of view of the financial market, can be useful to our sector, both at the level of large companies and SMEs, to consolidate this growth and to position ourselves ever better on international markets”.

A picture that allows us to be optimistic for the future as well: “The growth curve is already consolidating – concludes Stella – the order book of our companies has managed to be very solid also for the next 3-4 years. There are excellent prospects for permanence and presence on international markets where our superyacht sector is always the leader. One yacht out of two speaks Italian from the seas of the world so the study only confirms this world record of the Italian nautical industry”.
