The quarterback ended his career at 45
Tom Brady retires. This time, he’s serious. The 45-year-old quarterback announces the end of his NFL career with a video. “Hello guys, I’ll get straight to the point: I’m retiring for good,” says Brady, career winners of 7 Super Bowls (6 with the New England Patriots, 1 with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers). “I know last time it was a big deal, so when I woke up this morning I thought I’d hit ‘record’ and let you know,” Brady says, visibly moved, in the video posted on social media. “Thanks, guys, for allowing me to live my absolute dream. I wouldn’t change a thing. I love you all”, he says, dedicating a thought to his family, teammates, adversaries.
Brady had decided to retire a year ago. Between news and denials he had retraced his steps to play another season with the Buccaneers shirt, closed with the qualification for the playoffs and with the elimination in the wild card game against the Dallas Cowboys.
Truly grateful on this day. Thank you pic.twitter.com/j2s2sezvSS
