Nicoletta Manni’s appointment had been in the air for some time. The right moment seemed to have arrived in Rudolf Nureyev’s Swan Lake which was staged in September when the then prima ballerina gave an excellent performance of one of the most difficult choreographies in the repertoire. Yet another excellent performance of these years.
