The Minister of Justice said this as he began his communications to Parliament on the administration of Justice, recalling the “negative impact” of justice delays “which cost us 2 points of GDP”
“Our fundamental concern is to make justice quick and efficient. Quick justice can be unjust justice” but “slow justice is always non-justice, justice denied”. Thus the Minister of Justice, Carlo Nordio, in his communications to Parliament on the administration of Justice, recalling the “negative impact” of justice delays “which cost us 2 points of GDP”.
“Rationalize spending on wiretaps”
“Interception in investigations into mafia, terrorism or serious crimes will never be touched upon but a rationalization of expenditure is necessary”, specified the Keeper of the Seals, speaking of the decree which identified the functional services for interception operations with the determination of the relative tariffs, entered in force in 2023. In this regard, Nordio spoke about the adoption of a single tariff, valid for all judicial offices which makes the fees established therein mandatory and binding.
