Concerts to enjoyan absolute novelty of the 2022/2023 programming of theSymphony Orchestra of Milan“synesthetic” adventures that combine listening to symphonic music with tasting the creations of Ernst KnamCreative Partner of the Milan Symphony Orchestra for the 2022/2023 season, which inaugurates the Foundation’s desire to work alongside subjects not belonging to the musical scene every year to contaminate and be contaminated, to include and be included. An accompaniment, step by step, together with the Milan Symphony Orchestra conducted by M. Reuben Jaisamong the pages of the score of Beethoven’s Seventh Symphony, to savor its secrets through the tasting of a selection of pralines proposed and illustrated by Ernst Knam.

Thus, on Saturday 25 March at 6 pm, Ernst Knam and the Milan Symphony Orchestra conducted by Ruben Jais “explain Beethoven with a chocolate”. Co-protagonist of this unmissable appointment (together with the delicious creations of Chef Ernst Knam) will be the Symphony n.7 in La Major op.92, one of the most loved by the public and musicians, a timeless masterpiece, one of the unusual peaks of symphonism Of all times. Richard Wagner will define it as “an apotheosis of dance in its utmost essence, the action of the body translated into ideal sounds”, in which each movement is a precious gem of the repertoire. One thinks in particular of the Allegretto, an unexplored peak of melodic invention, which looks like a funeral march but is not a funeral march. Absolute masterpiece and source of inspiration for the Chef and Maître Chocolatier Ernst Knam, who, after a “musical-gastronomic” reflection with the Director Ruben Jais, renders each of the movements of this symphonic page through his art, offering the public a very sweet correspondence between the four tempos of the symphony and four of his ad hoc creations, a mouth-watering poker of pralines.

A 360-degree sensory experience: in addition to being overwhelmed by listening, the public is delighted by the scent and taste of the best Knam chocolate. Music and Chocolate have never been so close!
