Orme, the Paths Festival returns from 15 to 18 September

In Fai della Paganella

Fai della Paganella raises the curtain on the fifth edition of Orme, the first festival that takes place entirely along the paths that branch off at the foot of the Brenta Dolomites and which will fill the Fai della Paganella woods with music, flavors, theater and art. “Respect generates happiness”, this is the theme chosen for this edition that will animate the territory from 15 to 18 September.

Orme will involve 31 paths and will welcome two exceptional guests: the singer-songwriter Simone Cristicchi who, together with the Albiano Band, will open the festival by proposing an original reinterpretation of his repertoire, starting from the song that gives the title to this concert, “Lo we will ask the trees ”(September 15); and the comedian Enrico Bertolino, who will present “Instant Theater”, a show in which storytelling, humor, history, costume, news, comedy, politics and satire meet (17 September). These two appointments will be accompanied by two other special events: “Personal use”, an audiovisual performance in the woods that will allow you to make an emotional journey made up of music and images and which, drawing on various languages, will bring the public into a synaesthetic experience (September 16); and the big Sunday lunch where the whole village of Fai will gather to welcome the cows that will arrive from the mountain pasture before lunch (18 September).

A festival for everyone. There are many events dedicated to the little ones such as the trekking for children between the village and the woods ‘On the trail of Hänsel und Gretel’ and the “Orme Academy”, a fun academy among the trees. The highlight will be “And I will never go down” a traveling show, the story of a child who lives in trees. A journey between earth and sky, childhood and adolescence, reality and fiction, to discover the adventures of Cosimo Piovasco di Rondò and the unlikely characters evoked by Calvino. There will also be walks for adults to discover the sounds of nature, trekking with animals, gourmet theater experiences and sports activities to discover the woods and the breath park of Fai della Paganella.

The festival will end on Sunday 18 September with Sunday lunch preceded by the Desmontegada, the traditional arrival of cows in the village which marks the end of the summer season.
