Lights off and a campaign to raise awareness of energy saving
On the occasion of tomorrow’s appointment with the National Energy Saving and Sustainable Lifestyles Day that Rai Radio2 has organized annually since 2005 with the Caterpillar program, Pan di Stelle, a brand of the Barilla Group, adheres to the ‘M’illumino di Meno’ campaign created to promote and spread the culture of environmental sustainability and resource saving.
For the occasion, tomorrow Barilla will symbolically turn off the external lights of a silo at the Pedrignano (Parma) plant, the largest pasta factory in the world, the Group’s headquarters, and is launching a communication campaign with Pan di Stelle to raise awareness of energy saving, enhancing the emotion of dreams. In fact, the new one started this week Pan di Stelle project ‘Less light, more dreams’, born from the collaboration between the Pan di Stelle Marketing and Digital team and the strategic and creative team of the Armando Testa Group. A communication campaign planned on digital and social media to invite Italians to reduce domestic lighting to turn on the most important energy there is, that of dreams. A symbolic gesture that not only saves energy and is therefore good for the planet, but also helps to rediscover the emotional and relational benefits of a lesser and more aware use of domestic lighting, first of all that of stimulating the imagination and ability to dream.
“Less light, more dreams was created to combine the story of dreams with a concrete, extremely current theme, such as attention to the environment and energy saving, to spread the culture of ethical and relevant choices in terms of sustainability”, he explains Chiara Pisano, Marketing Director Pan di Stelle.
